Daniel 11:11Sefaria

The invasion of southern territory by the King of the North triggers a fierce reaction. The King of the South, previously known as a ruler immersed in his own pleasures, is suddenly shaken from his complacency by the looming threat and launches a severe counterattack As he prepares for the confrontation, he is consumed by intense rage. The primary approach among commentators is that he is filled with anger, bitterness, and cruelty as he readies for combat. However, [רש״י] understands this bitterness more practically, viewing it simply as the very act of mobilizing and going out to war against the King of the North.

As the two powers head toward a frontal clash, a massive military force is assembled. Most commentators identify this vast multitude as the army of the King of the South, who gathers enormous forces from every corner of his kingdom to push back the enemy. Conversely, another perspective argues that it is actually the King of the North who raises this great army [מצודת דוד]. Regardless of who assembled the larger force initially, the outcome of the battle is entirely agreed upon by all commentators. The massive army of the King of the North falls directly into the hands of the King of the South, resulting in a crushing and decisive victory for the southern kingdom.
